Walter Gropius was born in Berlin in 1883 and founded The Architects Collaborative Inc, (TAC). He constructed production facilities for Rosenthal at Selb and Amberg and also designed the timeless TAC tea service. This design is based on simple geometric shapes and is timeless. The slightly translucent porcelain emphasises the outstanding design features of the iconic Bauhaus design.
